In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities. You will perform a variety of tasks related to building maintenance, repair and improvement, ensuring a safe and functional environment for employees and clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and other building systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and building systems, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational continuity.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, including power outages, plumbing leaks, equipment failures, and other facility related issues.
  • Conduct facility safety inspections and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, codes, and organizational standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of facilities, including common areas, restrooms, exterior grounds, and building infrastructure.
  • Support facility improvement projects by assisting with renovations, equipment installations, office reconfigurations, and other capital or maintenance initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory of supplies and replacement parts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee specialized maintenance repairs, and service work while ensuring quality and timely completion.
  • Communicate proactively with management, staff, and external partners regarding facility conditions, maintenance priorities, and  project updates while effectively managing multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
  • Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
  • Experience driving with and maneuvering utility or equipment trailers and loading/unloading equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to trouble shoot and perform repairs effectively.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability for on-call duty and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and other office equipment.
