Job Summary: The Warehouse Materials Coordinator is responsible for overseeing fire protection equipment and supplies in the warehouse. They track inventory of sprinkler systems, extinguishers, alarms, and other safety gear. This role ensures that the right materials are available and delivered on time for fire safety installations and maintenance jobs. They help keep the warehouse organized and support the company's fire protection services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials and parts within the warehouse to ensure a timely delivery to designated destinations.
- coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for all warehouse employees.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
- Prepare reports and analyze data related to warehouse operations, including inventory levels, productivity metrics, and shipping/receiving performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
