Job Description

Investigate financial records to detect fraud, embezzlement, or financial misconduct, and provide expert analysis and testimony for legal proceedings.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Detect and quantify financial fraud
  • Prepare expert reports for litigation
  • Provide clear expert witness testimony
  • Identify hidden assets and transactions
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential
  • Experience with litigation support and expert testimony
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • Financial statement analysis
  • Fraud detection techniques
  • Data analytics / ACL / IDEA
  • eDiscovery tools
  • Accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)
  • Excel advanced modeling
  • Legal document review
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical thinking
  • Communication and report writing
