Job Description
Responsibilities :
IT Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Engage with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Operations, HR, etc.) to gather and clarify business technology requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear technical and functional specifications for vendor evaluation.
- Research, identify, and shortlist vendors based on capability, fit, track record, and pricing benchmarks.
- Prepare structured vendor comparison reports covering: Product/service suitability, Pricing and cost structures, Delivery timelines, Support terms
- Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations; validate technical compliance with requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors during active engagements, ensuring: Timely delivery, Milestone tracking, Escalation of delays or quality issues
- Maintain procurement trackers for: Purchase requests, Expected vs. actual delivery, Issue resolution status
- Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams for: Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), Service Entry Sheets (SES), Invoice approvals
- Track IT contracts, software subscriptions, and warranties; proactively manage renewals.
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory including hardware, software licenses, and accessories.
- Ensure license compliance and monitor minimum stock levels.
- Support vendor onboarding documentation and maintain updated supplier records.
- Assist in budgeting, cost tracking, and identifying IT cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, approval workflows, and audit standards.
IT Infrastructure Support (L1)
- Provide Level 1 support for end-user devices including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.
- Manage user accounts in: Active Directory, Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365
- Handle device onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Assist in deployment and management of Microsoft Intune-managed devices.
- Support endpoint security tools including: Antivirus, BitLocker, Conditional Access policies
- Monitor IT alerts and escalate issues to higher support levels when needed.
- Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Support office infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi access points, conference room systems, and ISP connectivity.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and service requests.
Requirements :
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Procurement & Vendor Management Skills : Business Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Engagement, Vendor Research, Identification & Shortlisting, Solution Evaluation & Fit Assessment, Quotation Evaluation & Vendor Comparison Reporting, Purchase Requisition (PR) & Purchase Order (PO) Process, Partner Delivery Tracking & Follow-Up, Contract and Renewal Tracking, Inventory & Asset Management, Cost Analysis and Spend Optimization.
Technical Skills : Windows 10/11 Administration, Microsoft 365 Administration, Active Directory & Azure AD, Microsoft Intune (basic administration), Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi), Hardware troubleshooting and deployment, IT Service Management (ITIL Foundation preferred)
Experience : 2–5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Support with minimum 2 years in supporting IT Procurement
Certificate : ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
