The Opportunity
This is a permanent full-time position where you will be responsible for leading a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare's model of care with it's Social Club service at Elderwise Social Club in Scone NSW.
This is a Monday - Friday 8am-4pm position, Permanent Full time
Hammond Care’s Social Clubs provide a social environment where older people can take a break from their home environment, connect with their community and spend a day socialising while being supported by our talented team. We also host excursions for our Guests on a bus on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
Aid in recruiting and leading staff, managing budgets, ensuring quality and overseeing all aspects of care provision at the Social Club
Provide strong and effective leadership, direction and oversight of operation of the Social Club
Operate social club inline with CHSP Operational Manual
Operate club inline with Aged Care Act and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Achieve targeted outputs for social club
Provide staff and volunteers with support and advice on daily operational care issues
What do you need to apply?
Certificate IV in Aged Care or other relevant qualification.
Experience in Community Aged Care management
Experience running a CHSP Social Club is ideal
Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment
Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance
Strong conflict resolution skills
Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
A current driver’s licence and safe driving record
Willingness to travel between HammondCare’s sites and services
Strong administrative and computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Empathy and patience
