Job Description

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support operations at our key client site, UCB, in Braine-l’Alleud.

🎯 Your Mission

As a true ambassador for PerkinElmer, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall performance of the Service Department.

You will work directly onsite to ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of analytical instruments, while actively supporting operational excellence.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and validation of analytical instruments and accessories.

  • Deliver onsite user training for designated product groups.

  • Ensure documentation compliance (technical diagrams, service bulletins, manuals, and QMS procedures).

  • Manage spare parts inventory and service tools with high accuracy and accountability.

  • Ensure calibration of all test equipment within required timelines.

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting (service reports, expense claims, timesheets, etc.).

  • Actively contribute to team performance targets and service excellence.

🎓 Your Profile

✔ Education & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Field Service or similar technical role.

✔ Key Skills

  • Native French speaker with professional fluency in English.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work in a demanding environment.

  • Negotiation and influencing skills.

  • High level of autonomy, rigor, and team spirit.
