What You’ll Do
Total Rewards & Benefits
• Administer comprehensive benefit offerings: medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, EAP, disability, legal, 401(k), and more
• Deliver engaging new hire benefits orientations and guide employees through life events and claims
• Lead COBRA administration and manage supplemental wellness programs
• Support Open Enrollment strategy and execution, including communications and employee support
• Collaborate with HR Systems to enhance Total Rewards statements and reporting
• Keep documentation current and benefits information clear and accessible across platforms
Leave of Absence (LOA)
• Administer all leave programs: FMLA, ADA, disability, parental, military, and more
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
• Coordinate timesheets, payroll adjustments, and return-to-work processes with care and accuracy
Innovation & Technology
• Actively identify and implement opportunities to automate, simplify, and redesign benefit and leave processes, leveraging AI tools and emerging HR technology to drive efficiency
• Support data preparation and analytics used in HR dashboards and leadership reporting, partnering with the People Analytics & Insights team
• Approach all work with an innovation mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve processes and create better solutions for employees and the business
Employee Engagement & Communication
• Be the first point of contact for benefit and leave questions—providing timely, accurate, and compassionate guidance
• Partner with internal communications and systems teams to keep employees informed and empowered
Vendor & Compliance Management
• Liaise with benefits vendors to ensure strong performance and issue resolution
• Maintain invoice accuracy and support contract renewals and vendor evaluations
• Assist in regulatory reporting: 1095-Cs, HIRD, Medicare Part D, PCORI, and more
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
What You Bring
Required
• 3+ years of relevant HR experience, including benefits and leave administration
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong knowledge of benefits regulations: ERISA, Section 125, FMLA, ADA
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, etc.) and benefits platforms
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
Preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CEBS certification
• Experience presenting benefits information and creating employee-facing content
• Familiarity with process improvement and wellness program design
• Demonstrated comfort with AI tools, automation platforms, or emerging HR technology; experience applying these to streamline administrative workflows is a plus
