Job Summary
The Business Development Representative - Marketing is responsible for utilizing outbound activities, such as calls and emails, to generate sales opportunities and set appointments from inbound leads. This role is crucial in driving sales growth and expanding SHI’s customer base by ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.Role Description
Engage prospective customers through outbound calls and email campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries to identify and prioritize sales opportunities.
Schedule and coordinate meetings between qualified prospects and Account Executives.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align on campaign strategy, messaging, and lead generation initiatives.
Support the execution of targeted outreach campaigns to drive pipeline growth and brand awareness.
Maintain and manage lead activity, pipeline data, and engagement metrics within CRM and sales platforms.
Develop an understanding of customer needs, business challenges, and key buying drivers.
Position and promote SHI’s products, solutions, and services to prospective customers.
Build early-stage relationships with potential clients to nurture interest and drive engagement.
Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and SHI’s evolving portfolio.
Handle inbound inquiries and provide a positive customer experience across initial touchpoints.

Other Requirements
Completed Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience required
Previous experience in sales, marketing, or a similar role
Preferred:
Fluency in SHI AX, CRM, and Microsoft Office tools preferred
Experience in the IT industry
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
