The Opportunity

The Demand Planning Lead ANZ is a new role based in Sydney.

The Demand Planning Lead, Wound Closure & Energy ANZ will lead demand planning, forecasting, and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP process for JNJ MedTech Wound Closure & Energy portfolio across Australia & New Zealand. This role partners closely with Commercial, Clinical & Medical Affairs, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Finance and Distribution partners to deliver accurate, consensus-based demand plans. The role drives continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, inventory optimization, IBP rigor, and cross-functional decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end demand plan for the Wound Closure & Energy ANZ portfolio — accurate statistical and consensus forecasts that drive theatre service levels.
  • Lead the ANZ IBP / S&OP rhythm — facilitate demand review, reconcile trade-offs, and secure cross‑functional & executive alignment.
  • Turn commercial and clinical signals (procedure volumes, tenders, launches, preference shifts) into clear demand scenarios and supply recommendations.
  • Optimize inventory and replenishment — set targets with Supply & Distribution to minimize excess, expiry risk and working capital while protecting OR availability.
  • Drive forecasting excellence and change — root-cause analytics, continuous improvement, training, systems upgrades and stakeholder collaboration.

About You

  • 5+ years in demand or supply‑chain planning, preferably in medical devices.
  • Direct experience running S&OP/IBP cycles and securing cross‑functional buy‑in.
  • Strong forecasting and analytics skills. Advanced Excel and planning‑system experience.
  • Experience with hospitals, distributors and 3PLs in ANZ. Familiar with tenders and procedure cycles.
  • Strong stakeholder, project and change management. Eligible to work in Australia and open to ~20% travel.

Why Choose Us:

  • Competitive remuneration package
  • Continuous training and support
  • Award-winning leadership development programs
  • Inclusive, flexible, and accessible working arrangements
  • Equal opportunity employer supporting diversity and inclusion

Our Benefits:

  • Up to 18 weeks of parental leave to support new parents
  • 4 days of volunteer leave to give back to the community
  • Option to purchase up to 2 weeks of additional annual leave for extra time off
  • Enjoy a dedicated Wellbeing Day to prioritise self-care
  • Global Wellness Reimbursement of $780 per year for healthy eating, exercise, or mindfulness activities
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program for personal and professional support
  • Enhanced leave provisions for compassionate (caregiver) leave, providing up to 30 days of additional support
  • Life insurance coverage for added peace of mind

And much more...
