Global PMC Hull Efficiency Services Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

· Drive adoption of the Hull Efficiency Services portfolio across target key accounts.

· Lead pipeline development, value-based selling, and successful customer onboarding.

· Support and, where required, directly lead strategic opportunities.

· Ensure effective execution of pilot programs and scale-up into long-term engagement.

· Support go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and product/service enhancements.

· Conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure strong value positioning and differentiation.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, operators, charterers, and technical stakeholders.

· Systematically capture customer input, feedback, and performance data from pilots and live deployments and translate customer insights into actionable improvements for services, tools, and customer experience.

· Conduct ongoing competitive benchmarking to inform differentiation and positioning.

· Collaborate closely with Global Segment team, Regional Sales, and Marketing team to optimize offering, pilot programs, and go-to-market activities.

· Support delivery of customer success outcomes, including validation and documentation of benefits.

· Design and deliver structured training programs for global sales teams on Hull Efficiency Services, including value selling and positioning.

· Act as a subject matter expert supporting sales teams in customer engagements, tenders, and technical-commercial discussions.

· Contribute to the creation of reference cases and success stories.

· Develop sales enablement materials (playbooks, pitch decks, value calculators, case studies).

· Support onboarding of new sales hires in the services portfolio.

· Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to sales representatives to increase confidence and conversion rates.


Qualifications & Experience

· 7–10+ years of commercial or technical-commercial experience in marine coatings, maritime technology, or shipping.

· Strong understanding of hull performance, biofouling management, and relevant IMO regulations.

· Proven experience in selling or supporting complex, hull performance, biofouling, data-driven or service-based marine solutions.

· Customer-centric mindset with ability to bridge commercial and technical teams.

· Experience in sales training, enablement, or capability building is highly desirable.

· Ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer value.
