Value-Based Care (VBC) Project Manager
Summary of Position:
The Value-Based Care (VBC) Project Manager is responsible for coordinating key operational outcomes within Verisma’s VBC Retrieval team. This role supports the execution of structured timelines, monitors progress against defined milestones and facilitates consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders. The VBC Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including client representatives, IT, staffing partners, and Healthcare Information Management (HIM) departments, to drive alignment with performance expectations, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining integrity, validating outputs, and supporting organizational objectives through effective team oversight and documentation practices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external teams to define initiative scope, requirements, and objectives
Develop and manage comprehensive plans within Verisma’s cloud-based PMO and VBC platforms, including task tracking, documentation, and issue resolution
Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating timely communication and issue escalation
Confirm that all team members are aligned on scope, success criteria, and expected outcomes
Monitor daily progress across workstreams and validate performance against established benchmarks
Review and verify accuracy, productivity, turnaround times, and adherence to regulatory standards
Maintain thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle of each engagement
Provide regular updates to account owners and other key stakeholders
Initiate and manage change orders as needed to adapt to evolving project requirements
Capture and analyze initiative data to inform success metrics and dashboard reporting
Perform final validation of deliverables to confirm alignment with defined scope and quality expectations
Contribute to organizational knowledge by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and solution strategies
Perform other appropriate duties, as assigned, to meet the needs of the department and the company

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required; college preferred
3 to 5 years of experience in project management, coordination, or a related role, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities through standardized processes and tools
Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client engagement and team collaboration
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a sense of urgency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (including advanced Excel functions such as charts, pivot tables, and complex data sets), SharePoint, and project management software or systems (e.g., Monday.com, Zoho Projects)
Experience in Information Technology or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environments preferred; background in healthcare technology is an advantage
PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
