Introduction – 

This is a high-impact opportunity to work with Oxford University Press (OUP), contributing to the growth of its School Education business by strengthening product adoption and customer engagement. The role is ideal for professionals passionate about education, learning outcomes, and enabling educators through effective training and support.

It offers a unique blend of academic engagement and commercial impact, allowing you to work closely with schools, teachers, and internal sales teams. You will play a key role in driving value beyond sales by ensuring effective product understanding, training, and long-term customer success.

Opportunity – 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving market share growth for assigned product groups by enhancing product knowledge, supporting sales teams, and ensuring strong engagement with schools.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving revenue from existing user schools through retention, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities
  • Conducting product briefings in schools, including preparing presentations and delivering sessions personally
  • Ensuring timely completion of SLAs and SOPs
  • Designing and executing innovative customer engagement initiatives to enhance customer delight
  • Maintaining zero unresolved complaints beyond 7 days in the territory
  • Improving product usage and adoption in user schools
  • Delivering internal product training to strengthen the knowledge and effectiveness of sales teams
  • Managing reporting, auditing, and documentation processes

Impact:
This role is pivotal in ensuring that OUP’s products are not just sold but effectively implemented and utilized. You will directly influence customer satisfaction, product adoption, and revenue growth, while empowering teachers and strengthening long-term partnerships with schools.

 

About You

Essential Criteria

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any discipline with strong communication skills
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including working with remote teams
  • Good understanding of computer applications

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in teacher training and/or school teaching

  • Internal: Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
  • External: School heads and teachers from private and public institutions
