
Manufacturing Multi-Site Production Scheduler
Job Description
Atlas Roofing is seeking a high-impact Multi-Site Scheduler for our Phoenix, AZ and Northglenn, CO. manufacturing facilities. Atlas roofing promotes from within and values continuous improvement.
The Role: we are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable and driven team member. You will collaborate across operations, purchasing, and shipping teams to keep production running smoothly while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery timelines
- Coordinate production priorities with operations, maintenance, quality, warehouse, and shipping departments
- Monitor staffing, machine availability, and production capacity to optimize workflow and reduce downtime
- Adjust schedules to address material shortages, equipment issues, or changing customer requirements
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure raw materials, packaging, and consumables are available to support production plans
- Manage inventory levels for make-to-stock items and maintain accurate finished goods records
- Perform weekly cycle counts and assist with month-end inventory reconciliation
- Analyze production trends and data to improve forecasting and operational efficiency
- Clearly communicate schedule updates and production priorities to team members
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to planning, scheduling, and overall plant performance
- Travel periodically to other company sites for collaboration and engagement
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
Qualifications
- Associate degree from a 2-year college or technical school preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of related production planning, scheduling, inventory, or manufacturing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage changing priorities and customer demands in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including inventory calculations and order conversions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and operational documents
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and ethical business conduct
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience using ERP systems such as PeopleSoft preferred
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Ability to quickly learn customer and product details
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, and use of hands
- Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Strong visual and communication abilities
- Consistent onsite attendance required
