FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: Grant Funded
Work Days: 37 Weeks
FTE: 25 hrs per week

Parents As Teachers - Data Clerk


Position Summary:
This position provides clerical support for department or program.
This position is grant funded and continuation of employment is contingent upon grant renewal.

Essential Duties:
? Assist Parent Educators in completion of forms and meeting deadlines (i.e. ASQ-3, SE2, Health Records, Vision and Hearing Screenings) and required updates as required by National Parents as Teachers organization.
? Responsible for file maintenance to include organization, archiving, entering data in the Parent Educator file.
? Gathering of data from Supervisors and State Department of Health Data system of completed visits to support the preparation of the Annual Program Report.
? Assist with the planning of Group Connection meetings to include meeting location, audio visual needs, sourcing of Speaker and material preparation.
? Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required):
? High School diploma or GED is required.
? Bachelors' degree in related field preferred.
? Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents and school personnel.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, email and database software (Microsoft Office Suite).
? Accuracy; attention to detail; discretion; tact; courtesy; good judgment; reliability and results driven.

? Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time

? Physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds, to bend, stoop, climb stairs, walk and reach
? Duties are normally performed in an office environment.
? The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
