Summary:

The Clinical Manager, RN (PN) provides front-line supervision for licensed and unlicensed personnel while coordinating the daily clinical operations of Cook Children’s Pediatric Specialty clinics or Urgent Care Centers. Operating in a collaborative practice with physicians and nurse practitioners, this role ensures the delivery of comprehensive ambulatory nursing care, including patient assessment, intervention, and health education. The Manager maintains a significant clinical presence by spending 75% of their designated shift on the floor, ensuring all duties are performed in strict accordance with established policies and procedures. Reporting through a dual clinical and administrative structure, this leader serves as a vital link between the medical providers and executive operations, facilitating seamless communication and clinical compliance across the pediatric specialty and urgent care network.

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor's in Nursing.

  • 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.


Certification/Licensure:

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • BLS. & PALS.

Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm (After hours and/or weekends as needed.)

  • Clinic Operations Hours: 10:30am to 11:00pm (Seven days a week.)
