Job Description
Regional Sales Manager - The Role
We are hiring a driven, mission-led Regional Sales Manager to help grow Abler across the UK.
We are open to candidates across all regions and will be hiring multiple Regional Sales Managers as we continue to expand our presence.
You will own your territory and play a key role in expanding our presence. While this is a high-ownership role with a strong focus on new business, you will not be starting from zero. Abler already works with a growing number of well-known organisations across the UK, from Premier League and EFL clubs to grassroots and community programmes, giving you a strong foundation, credibility, and network to build on.
You will introduce Abler to clubs, community programmes, foundations, and sports organisations, helping them modernise how they operate and how they serve their participants.
You will run the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through to demos, proposals, and closing deals, while also leveraging existing relationships, references, and introductions to accelerate growth.
You will be trained on our playbook and equipped with the tools needed to succeed. The role begins as a contractor position with a clear path to a full-time role as you demonstrate impact and as our UK team continues to grow.
What You'll Do
- Prospect & Build Pipeline: Design and execute multi-touch outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone. Research accounts carefully and use outbound tools such as Apollo, Lemlist, or Smartlead to build a strong pipeline.
- Own the Sales Cycle: Prepare and run discovery calls, conduct product demonstrations, send proposals and contracts professionally, and manage negotiations through to close.
- Build Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with sports organisations across your territory and become a trusted advisor to clubs and administrators.
- Maintain a Clean Pipeline: Log all activity accurately in our CRM so the team always has a clear picture of pipeline and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Team: Share what is working in the field and bring customer insights back to product, marketing, and leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in sales, SDR, or AE role, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or technology
- A genuine background and passion for sport, whether as a coach, administrator, athlete, or someone who has worked within a sports organisation
- A track record of hitting or exceeding outreach and pipeline targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and remotely
- Based in the UK with the right to work
- Comfortable using sales tools and learning new technology quickly
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM systems is a plus
- Experience selling into sports clubs, leisure, or membership-based organisations is a plus
- Experience contributing to playbooks or mentoring junior SDRs is a plus
What We Value
We are looking for people who are not only skilled and capable, but who bring the right mindset.
Experience and qualifications matter, but mindset matters more. We believe that a strong work ethic, a drive to improve, and a willingness to take ownership are what truly determine long-term success.
With the right mindset, you can learn fast, grow into the role, and create real impact, even if you don’t have all the answers from day one.
We value people who take responsibility, push through challenges, and keep raising their level. People who bring energy to the team, challenge others, and help move us forward together.
