Job Description
Duties And Responsibilities :
1 Provide personalized coordinated care, support and treatment for patients and families.
2 Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
3 Involve patients, families and caregivers by providing them with education and resources for offering optimal support to promote recovery.
4 work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular and respiratory, sometimes over a period of weeks.
5 Assess and treat their physical problem/condition;
6 develop and review treatment programmers that encourage exercise and movement by the use of a range of techniques;
7 involve parents and careers in the treatment, review and rehabilitation of patients;
8 educate patients and their careers about how to prevent and/or improve conditions;
9 write patient case notes and reports and collect statistics;
10 liaise with other healthcare professionals, to exchange information about the background and progress of patients, as well as to refer patients who require other medical attention.
11 Attend the Monthly meeting
12 Follow the Hospital policies
13 respect the infection control measures in the department.
QUALIFICATIONS :
1 BS of physical Therapy
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
1 A minimum of 2 years’ experience as Physiotherapist.
SPECIALIZED SKILLS :
1 Excellent communication skills.
2 tolerance, patience, sensitivity and tact
3 the ability to work under pressure
COMPETENCE:
1 The ability to build a rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds and communicate with their relatives
2 Good time management
3 Team working skills
