
Family Psychotherapist
Job Description
The Family Psychotherapist is primarily responsible for providing therapy and clinical support to program participants and clients with a wide range of issues to include mental health in accordance with federal, state, and agency requirements. This individual will also be responsible for providing assessment and screening for program clients on an as needed basis. This position utilizes the Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) evidence-based model with assigned families and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while working to implement it to fidelity and demonstrate its effectiveness in improving parent-child relationships to reduce recidivism in the child welfare system.
