KIDSTRONG COACH
KidStrong Kleinburg is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy coaches with a background in athletics, coaching, or child development. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping kids grow in confidence, strength, and independence.
We work with children ages walking to 11 years old, so experience with this age group or a background in pediatric occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), or early childhood education is a strong asset.
Schedule:
- Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, 3:15 PM - 7:30 PM
- Weekends: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- KidStrong Coach Certification (provided upon hire)
- Minimum 18 years old
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver KidStrong classes using our structured curriculum
- Create a positive, high-energy environment that keeps kids engaged and motivated
- Ensure safety and proper form during all activities
- Communicate with parents and help them understand the KidStrong program and their child’s progress
- Maintain class structure and manage group dynamics effectively
- Support team culture and collaborate with fellow coaches and leadership
- Follow all KidStrong policies and procedures
Experience & Skills:
- Experience working with children (infant – 11 years) in a coaching, teaching, or similar role
- Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT is preferred
- Strong understanding of basic movement, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
- Confident communicator who can engage both kids and parents
- Positive, energetic, and reliable
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, active environment
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
