Job Description
The India Finance Leader oversees a team of about 40 finance associates at Cytiva's largest finance site, and is responsible for ensuring timely completion of close, forecasting, and budgeting tasks. This role collaborates with finance leaders and supports the global finance community.
This position reports to the Vice President, FP&A and is the leader of the Finance COE team located in India which will be an on-site role.
What you will do:
- Coordinate with global finance partners as needed to support COE areas and ensure service levels and performance meet expectations.
- Utilize DBS for process improvement, automation, AI implementation, and team productivity.
- Promote execution by enforcing and enhancing daily management practices.
- Help develop and execute strategies for better forecast accuracy and cost metrics.
- Streamline talent management by refining hiring, onboarding, performance, and development protocols.
- Establish training programs focused on DBS, AI, and automation to upskill the team.
- Drive engagement and cultivate a positive on-site team culture
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated career progression and experience managing large teams
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
- Strong analytical abilities with a talent for distilling complex data for senior leaders.
- High business acumen and ability to engage executive management.
- Capable of handling multiple priorities, adapting quickly, and executing ad hoc tasks.
- Motivated manager committed to learning and growth.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Some travel may be required
- Valid work permission
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Oracle, SAP and OneStream experience preferred
- Experience managing offshore finance teams preferred
