ABOUT THE ROLE Production management supports the strategic planning process for manufacturing as well as oversees implementation of segment plans across manufacturing operations – ensuring that all the different functional areas work together to maximize profitability. General managers are accountable for their assigned production facility, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness, a safe work environment, team culture and morale, customer satisfaction, and achievement of financial goals.
