Temporary Social Video Editor

Hearst’s Fashion & Luxury social video team is seeking a freelance temporary Social Video Editor to support short-form social video across its portfolio of brands, with a primary focus on ELLE, Esquire, and ELLE Decor. This role will help create engaging, platform-native videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, contributing to a high-volume social video operation across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, culture, design, and editorial content. The ideal candidate is an early-career editor with strong instincts for social storytelling, short-form pacing, visual style, and platform trends. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced editorial environment, collaborating with social, video, editorial, and audience teams, and turning around timely videos for same-day social moments.
