Regional Marketing Director, Middle East & Africa (MEA)
Position Summary
As Blue Yonder continues to expand its presence across the Middle East and Africa, we are seeking a Regional Marketing Director to establish and lead regional marketing execution from our Riyadh headquarters.
Reporting directly to the EMEA Marketing Director, this role will serve as a key marketing leader supporting demand generation, account engagement, executive programs, customer advocacy, and field marketing activities across the MEA region.
While the title reflects the strategic importance of the region, this is fundamentally a hands-on leadership role. Approximately 70% of the role is focused on execution and operational leadership, with 30% dedicated to planning, prioritization, and regional alignment. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating global and regional marketing priorities into local execution, driving measurable business impact and pipeline growth across some of the world's fastest-growing markets.
The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketer with a strong background in field marketing, demand generation, executive engagement, and event-led marketing. They must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and building programs from the ground up.
This position is based in Riyadh and will support the broader MEA region, working closely with regional sales leadership, global marketing teams, strategic partners, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Marketing Execution:
Execute regional marketing plans aligned with global and EMEA priorities.
Localize campaigns and programs for Middle East and African markets.
Drive demand generation activities that contribute directly to pipeline creation and revenue growth.
Support strategic account engagement initiatives in partnership with sales teams.
Coordinate campaign deployment across digital, field, partner, and executive marketing channels.
Ensure consistent execution excellence across all regional marketing activities.
Field Marketing & Events:
Lead the planning and execution of customer events, executive engagements, roundtables, workshops, and industry conferences.
Support and execute Blue Yonder-hosted event programs across the region.
Manage event logistics, agencies, vendors, budgets, and timelines.
Drive attendee acquisition, engagement, and post-event follow-up activities.
Ensure strong collaboration between marketing, sales, and business leadership teams.
Personally oversee key strategic events and executive engagements.
Account-Based Marketing & Executive Engagement:
Partner with sales leadership to identify and engage strategic target accounts.
Develop and execute account-based marketing initiatives for key prospects and customers.
Support executive engagement programs, customer advisory activities, and leadership events.
Build relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders across the region.
Pipeline & Performance Management:
Monitor campaign performance and marketing contribution to pipeline.
Track and report key metrics including registrations, attendance, engagement, opportunities, pipeline creation, and ROI.
Optimize programs based on performance insights and business priorities.
Ensure marketing investments are aligned with commercial objectives.
Maintain a strong focus on measurable business outcomes and revenue contribution.
Team Leadership:
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the regional Marketing Manager.
Foster strong collaboration across sales, marketing, customer success, and partner teams.
Help establish and scale the regional marketing function as the business continues to grow.
Create a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience.
Proven success in field marketing, demand generation, ABM, or regional marketing roles.
Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, technology, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
Demonstrated success in executing complex marketing programs, customer events, executive engagements, and demand generation initiatives.
Experience working in high-growth, fast-changing, or emerging markets is highly desirable.
Experience supporting regional sales organizations with measurable pipeline impact.
Leadership Style:
This role requires a builder mindset.
The successful candidate must be comfortable operating in an environment where processes, programs, and structures are still evolving. They must be willing to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and personally drive execution.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing leadership role focused primarily on strategy development. We are seeking a leader who combines commercial thinking with operational excellence, a strong bias for action, and a passion for execution.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing strategy with senior leadership and managing the details of a campaign launch, executive dinner, customer event, or account-based marketing initiative.
