
Operations Manager | Home Health/Hospice
Job Description
Enjoy a rewarding career at CentraCare as the Operations Manager of our Home Health and Hospice Team. This role provides leadership and operational support across CentraCare’s home health and hospice service lines, overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient workflows in patient and staff scheduling, timekeeping, payer verification and authorization and documentation management. The Operations Manager supports and implements patient safety, regulatory and organizational practices to ensure high‑quality, compliant care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily administrative operations including clerical and administrative support functions.
- Lead onboarding for direct reports and support ongoing education, competency maintenance and professional development of staff.
- Oversee key operational processes that support timely and accurate billing, coordinate insurance verification and authorization workflows.
- Responsible for obtaining, tracking and filing signed patient documents and physician orders to ensure accuracy and completion for timely billing and compliant practice.
- Guide the team to ensure accuracy, timeliness and reliable communication with staff and patients.
- Coordinate the development, review and ongoing updates of policies and procedures related to emergency preparedness, patients’ rights and other assigned areas.
- Serve as the liaison between system departments and external vendors to implement new technologies and resolve issues.
Schedule
- Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Waite Park Office
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $83,866.40 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Salary range: $83,866.40 - $125,860.80 per year
- Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive work experience including management/supervisory responsibilities
- Must possess demonstrated management skills including leadership, problem solving, communications, organization and goal setting
- Experience working in home health or hospice strongly preferred
