Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinists to support high-quality manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines strong machining knowledge with hands-on problem-solving ability and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T, and work instructions.
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, feeds, and speeds for efficient production.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs or machine settings as needed.
  • Optimize cycle times and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain production schedules while ensuring product quality standards are met.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, materials, and tolerances.
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar controls preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment.

 Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, machine noise, metal shavings, lubricants, and moving mechanical parts. Proper PPE and safety procedures are required at all times.
