SDE 1 – Software Development Engineer I

Experience: 1–3 years
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Department: Engineering / Product Development
Reports to: Engineering Manager / Tech Lead

Role Summary:

As an SDE 1, you will be part of a fast-paced engineering team building scalable and reliable software products. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to learn best practices and contribute to the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain features across the tech stack (frontend/backend).
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design teams.
• Learn and apply engineering best practices including code reviews and CI/CD.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend languages (Java, Python, Node.js).
• Exposure to version control systems like Git.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
