
Print Systems Support Specialist
Job Description
The Print Support Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional support for client print environments, ensuring high levels of system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role provides end-to-end support for networked printers and print systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing service requests, and maintaining print infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong technical troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced service environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Issue Resolution
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to printers, multifunction devices, and print management systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for client print environments
- Provide timely and professional communication to clients throughout the support process
Print System Management
- Manage and maintain printer inventories and configurations (e.g., Web JetAdmin, Device Control Center)
- Support ongoing print environment optimization, including device performance and utilization
- Coordinate and fulfill service tickets including incidents, service requests, and changes
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, resolutions, and system changes
- Ensure timely time entry and compliance with service processes and procedures
- Assist with development of best practices and operational documentation
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on print technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve overall client experience
General Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting print systems, IT support, or related technical field
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of network printing environments and device connectivity
- Experience supporting printers, multifunction devices, and print management tools
- Ability to manage tickets across incident, problem, and change processes
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
