Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or:
4 additional years of relevant experience with no degree, or
- 2 additional years of relevant experience with a non-STEM degree.
18 years of experience in government or industry supporting relevant functional areas, including:
DoD/IC Acquisition Process
Requirements Process
Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES)
Systems Engineering of large, complex Systems of Systems
Service-Oriented Architecture environments operating in cloud, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructures
Strong understanding of the full systems engineering lifecycle.
Demonstrated knowledge of the current National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) / Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) and National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) enterprises.
Previous program or project experience with National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) or within the NSG/ASG environment.
Prior program or project experience within the Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD).
- TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain SCI and successfully pass a polygraph.
Desired
- Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field.
Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies, processes, tools, and languages.
Software Development Framework certification.
International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
Licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE).
Membership or leadership participation in professional organizations such as:
American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM)
American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)
American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS)
Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)
Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)
United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF)
Extensive professional experience in the field of geospatial intelligence.
Experience engineering solutions using:
Cloud-based technologies
Structured and unstructured Big Data environments
Automation, augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies
Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems (GIS), geomatics, or related disciplines.
