The Impact of a Digital Sales Executive at Coupa:
The Inside Sales Rep (ISR) a quota carrying sales role serving both existing customers and new prospects that represent Coupa’s largest key accounts. The ISR partners with the sales Account Director who leads these account relationships to close new develop new prospects and close new accounts. In addition, the ISR will own smaller upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
What You'll Do:
- Exceed annual sales targets by developing and executing tailored Account Plans, prospecting, and building a pipeline for Coupa’s cloud-based spend management solutions to new and greenfield accounts.
- Engage with C-level executives, leveraging Business Value Selling within the Challenger Sale model to position Coupa’s value proposition and drive deals to closure.
- Collaborate with resellers and alliance partners, orchestrating joint vision roadmaps and co-selling to maximize value delivery and client investments.
- Create and execute sales campaigns to generate demand, deliver executive sales proposals, and maintain accurate sales forecasting (+/- 10%) in Salesforce.
- Build an account penetration model, fostering multi-angle access into key accounts and aligning value messaging with the chief economic buyer to drive strategic sales outcomes.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Direct sales experience in the software industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas in both on-premise and SaaS environments, and expertise in selling business value to finance and business stakeholders.
- Proven success engaging with C-level executives, particularly CFOs, and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles to close large deals.
- Strong business development and account planning skills, with experience prospecting greenfield accounts and crafting compelling value propositions using ROI and TCO models.
- Excellent relationship-building abilities, with experience working in a team-selling environment, and the ability to engage all organizational levels from bottom-up to top-down.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong financial acumen, and expertise in SaaS solutions, AP automation, and spend management, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
