Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the proper customs clearance of company clients’ shipments, in collaboration with the declarations department. This includes handling inspection procedures by forwarding the necessary documentation to customs officers, as well as managing the tariff classification of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and execute import operations in line with regulations and internal procedures

• Prepare and submit customs entries in compliance with local requirements

• Calculate duties, tariffs, and shipment metrics (value, weight, volume)

• Process, verify, and archive import documentation and invoices

• Ensure shipments meet customer requirements and regulatory standards

• Monitor and update shipment data in internal systems

• Coordinate with internal teams to validate shipment information

• Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements

• Ensure operations comply with business guidelines and performance expectations

• Provide guidance or support to other team members

Requirements

• Vocational / Technical education or relevant certification

• Up to 2 years of experience

• Excellent command of English Language (written and spoken)

• Experience with MS Office and computer systems

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Basic knowledge of import processes (preferred)

• Good communication and teamwork skills
