Description
As a Senior Manager – Engineering, you will play a critical role leading teams that integrate LLM APIs and agentic AI capabilities into our new and existing web applications and software platforms. Your work will focus on ensuring team cohesion, seamless application functionality, enhancing performance, and creating intelligent systems that can autonomously optimize business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user requirements and help accelerate software development using generative AI tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional generative AI-focused software development team
- Integrate LLM APIs into existing platforms to enhance user interactions, decision-making, and automation capabilities.
- Enhance applications with agentic AI capabilities to enable autonomous decision-making and improve business workflows.
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional organization, including product managers, data scientists, and engineers, to develop AI-driven features and optimize system performance.
- Utilize Generative AI to accelerate development processes, such as using tools like GitHub Copilot for coding assistance.
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and reliable.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in LLMs, generative AI, and cloud technologies, and integrate new tools to enhance application performance.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (e.g., LangChain), .NET (C#), and TypeScript (e.g., React); experience with web frameworks (e.g., Node.js), cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), Azure AI Foundry, or AWS Bedrock.
- AI Integration: Experience with integrating LLMs and agentic AI systems into web applications, with a focus on automation and Human-In-The-Loop decision-making systems.
- Deployment & Scaling: Experience deploying scalable AI-driven web applications in cloud environments
- Data Handling: Familiarity with integrating structured and unstructured data for knowledge bases / Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions
- Software development / engineering team lead experience
- Proven experience developing and deploying scalable web applications.
- Hands-on experience integrating generative AI APIs and AI-driven solutions into applications.
- Solid background in full-stack development.
- Cloud infrastructure management (stretch).
- Team leadership
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot AI integration challenges.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Eagerness to stay current with advancements in AI, particularly in generative models, agentic AI, and knowledge graph technologies.
