
Mechanic - 3rd Grade
Job Description
Repairs and services equipment in a power plant such as pumps, compressors, steam turbines, fans, cooling towers, electric motors, tanks, pipes, valves, actuators, controls, indicating devices, etc. Demonstrated skills acquired through direct experience as a full-time employee at an operating power plant.
High school education or equivalent, with two years vocational school training in high pressure boilers, turbines, generators, electrical, and auxiliary equipment required or equivalent.
Must hold one of the following State of Minnesota Electrical licenses: Maintenance, Journeymen, Master Electrician License or registered as unlicensed Electrician. New hires that do not have an electrical license are required to have unlicensed registration completed within the 90 day probationary period from start date.
