The Position
The IT Manager Business Analysis and Quality Assurance (BA/QA) operates as the spokesperson for the business use cases, product evolutions, user experience and quality for our core CRM and Digital Applications. The Manager leads the full understanding of the business needs and requirements, using current methodologies and techniques. The Manager ensures that the user experience is maximized by embedding great user interfaces, platforms such as mobile and ensuring that quality of the system at the technical and user-level meet expectations. In order to do so, the Manager leads resources, inclusive of a team that may be comprised of colleagues and/or 3rd party resources. The Manager continues to cultivate trusting and productive relationships with stakeholders, users, team members. The Manager will work closely with the product owners from the business side.

Specific responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Business Analysis and Quality Assurance team, providing leadership, coaching, workforce management and strategy for this part of the organization. Ensure that processes and tools are available to facilitate the team’s workings.
Establish, implement and manage the applicable parts of a comprehensive software development lifecycle to achieve great IT applications that provide a superb user experience, produce results in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. Measurement of success will be expressed in Key Performance Indicators such as user/customer satisfaction, error rate, degree of business process coverage, etc.
Relate business needs and IT requirements in ways that solve issues, create value propositions and show alignment with firm objectives and priorities.
Manage team of full-time and sourced staff professionals, with roles that range from Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, Salesforce Admins and Functional Architects. Lead by example to create and maintain a cultural attributes of respect, results and quality as well as trust, communication and team work.
Assist Director in vendor management, budgeting, governance and compliance tasks.
Work closely with the Director on staff and staffing matters, provide input in initiative priorities and the portfolio of application related work, provide a formal weekly update on progress, status, people, risks and issues.
In dialog with the Director and the Director’s team, produce on going and initiative based stakeholder management plans and execute the relevant portions to ensure continued proximity of IT leadership with other parts of the business.
Translate and delegate work, making sure that team expectations are set, use firm standards and where needed enrich these to achieve clear objectives for the teams and team members.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; relevant graduate degree or MBA preferred.
Experience in Agile methodologies; leading Scrums, coaching teams as so to ensure adoptions and sustainability of Agile methods
Experience in managing clients and/or stakeholders throughout IT and change initiatives
Highly developed management skills; able to synthesize information; able to present material in an organized and clear manner
The ability to work with a number of constituencies on simultaneous projects
Understand and knowledge of organizational structures, organizational development and change management approaches; experience in articulating functional changes; experience in ensuring proper documentation; experience in collaboration with change management and training teams
Familiarity with Salesforce and force.com technology and eco-system as well as other cloud based application systems such as Workday, AWS, Azure and BOX
Experience in operating in an environment where understanding of consumer technology usage and the effect it has on enterprise IT affected approach and success
Experience with mobile custom application creation and management for external clients and internal users
