Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The day is filled with coordinating efforts across teams, ensuring that the software solutions align with business needs, and overseeing the implementation process from conception through deployment. Continuous collaboration and problem-solving are integral to successfully delivering high-quality, customized software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software solutions.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark, Python (Programming Language).
- Strong experience in distributed data processing and handling large-scale datasets.
- Ability to optimize and tune PySpark applications for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and working with various data sources.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues within big data environments.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PySpark.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
