Job Description
- Define and drive the strategy for Bloomberg’s index capabilities across data, analytics, and workflows, aligned with priorities such as AskB and Enterprise integration
- Own the evolution of index data models, metadata, and APIs to enable consistent and scalable use and improved discoverability of index content
- Build a deep understanding of client workflows and translate evolving needs into clear product direction
- Lead the development of unified experiences across indices, custom baskets, and related datasets
- Partner with Engineering, Data, and Product teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with infrastructure and migration initiatives
- Define product requirements, prioritize effectively, and measure impact through adoption and business outcomes
- 7+ years of product management or equivalent experience in financial data, analytics platforms, or complex workflows
- Solid understanding of index data, benchmarks, or related investment workflows (e.g., portfolio construction, trading, or market analysis)
- Experience working with data systems, including data modeling, APIs, or analytics platforms
- Ability to operate across technical and business domains, working effectively with engineering, data, and sales teams
- Proven ability to define product strategy and execute in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply
- Technical fluency and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
- Experience with index construction, custom baskets, or benchmark-driven workflows
- Familiarity with entitlement systems, data distribution, or enterprise delivery
- Exposure to AI-driven products, APIs, or tools like AskB
- Experience working across asset classes or building cross-product workflows
- Analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex problems
- Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal or similar platforms
