Job Description
Job Summary**
Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies within a specific market segment to achieve revenue targets and market share growth for GE Medical Systems in Shanghai. This role involves leading sales initiatives, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive healthcare solutions.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the assigned market segment to meet or exceed sales quotas and business objectives.
* Identify and target new business opportunities within the segment, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, department heads, and medical professionals.
* Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential threats and opportunities.
* Collaborate with product marketing, service, and clinical teams to ensure effective product positioning, customer support, and tailored solutions.
* Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and business reviews to senior management.
* Represent GE Medical Systems at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to promote products and services.
* Provide training and support to junior sales team members as needed.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Prior experience in a segment-focused sales role is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of the healthcare market in China, including customer segments, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
* Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at various levels.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
