Operational Excellence Specialist 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Cork | Hybrid At laya healthcare, we're passionate about helping people live healthier lives

We're currently seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to join our People & Culture team on a 6-month fixed-term basis and support key governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives across the business

The Role Reporting to the Head of People and Capability, you'll play an important role in maintaining and enhancing our Operational Excellence framework, ensuring procedures, processes and documentation are governed effectively and support a compliant, resilient organisation

Key Responsibilities Support the management and continuous improvement of laya's Operational Excellence framework

Partner with business teams to create, review and maintain procedural documentation

Manage document control activities through Confluence and Jira

Assist with procedural reviews to support compliance and risk management

Support ISO 9001, Excellence Through People and other audit and accreditation activities

Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational effectiveness

Contribute to Operational Excellence and continuous improvement projects

About You Experience in Operational Excellence, Quality, Compliance, Governance or a similar business function

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities

Knowledge of quality frameworks such as ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 would be advantageous

Experience with Confluence and Jira is desirable

Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for driving high standards
