Where you come in:
Responsible for technician support of equipment, processes and/or electronics related to Dexcom's Operations, Engineering and R&D located in the Production and Research & Development Departments. Also prepares and maintains appropriate documents.
What makes you successful
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment, processes and/or electronics issues, defines and implements improvements to equipment, processes and/or electronics deficiencies.
Conduct preventive maintenance duties on equipment, processes and/or electronics as required. Maintain maintenance documents and replacement parts and work with manufacturers to maintain equipment, processes and/or electronics in a safe and functional condition.
Perform activities in the functioning, programming and integration of automated equipment, processes and/or electronics to assume a specialist role in the equipment, processes and/or electronics process you are involved in.
Ability to contribute to the coordination and direction of activities in the development of equipment, processes and/or electronics as directed by project engineer with minimum supervision. Support equipment, processes and/or electronics development projects including planning, purchasing, assembly and testing of equipment, processes and/or electronics.
This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned, including group leader activities.
Perform all assigned tasks with appropriate safety precautions.
Preferred Qualifications:
4-6+ years related production equipment, processes and/or electronics technician experience

B.A. in equipment, processes and/or electronics related curriculum is preferred.
Preferred Education Requirements:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with equipment, processes and/or electronics related curriculum
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience and Education Requirements:
Typically requires a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience and High School diploma/certificate or equivalent.
