Key Responsibilities
Your main tasks include:
- Coordinating with Waiter/ Waitress & Minibar Attendant.
- Responsible for taking orders by phone and correct booking in POS communication to service and kitchen.
- Active explanation and sale of all food/drinks offered as well as offering alternatives.
- Monitoring of utilities, supplies and removal of waste.
- Ensuring that the workplace and its surroundings are always kept clean and organised.
- Organising and carrying out preparation and follow-up tasks.
- Dealing courteously and efficiently with guest enquiries and complaints and reporting to supervisor(s).
- Competent use of the POS system to the level of training required in the department.
- Support with stocktaking of products and work equipment.
- Supervision of service and taking over instructions for the team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Completed training in a comparable hotel and professional experience in upscale gastronomy
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- In addition to your impeccable appearance and well-groomed appearance, you impress with your natural charm, communication skills and knowledge of human nature
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and very high quality awareness
- Structured and organised way of working
- Great interest in team-oriented work
- Very good knowledge of German and English; any other language is an advantage
