Job Description

Corporate Card Analyst

  • Monitors all corporate card accounts for delinquency and/or misuse of card. Communicates with staff, managers, and/or HR when a corporate card account becomes past due.  Continues to monitor delinquent accounts until paid to a current status. Aims to maximize the rebate from card issuing bank by reducing deductions caused by delinquent balances.
  • Contacts employees to repay personal expenses and follows up on payments. Reminds employees of Company policies and procedures.
  • Reviews reports for un-submitted card transactions and communicates with employees and/or managers to ensure compliance with Company policies. Purges unused historical card transactions as needed.
  • Responsible for processing corporate card applications, sets/adjusts credit limits, and ensures card agreements are signed by the employee (and manager, if applicable) with each card issuance. Maintains a file of executed card agreements.
  • Cancels cards for terminated employees and ensures all outstanding expenses have been submitted. If needed, obtains and provides travel invoices upon request.
  • Reconciles credit balances and requests credit balance refunds from the card issuing bank. Works with Accounts Payable to accurately record refunds.
  • Communicates with line manager and/or HR Manager for all terminating employees with an outstanding balance on their corporate card account. If needed, works with Legal to ensure terminated employee is advised of responsibilities regarding corporate card balance.
  • Research expense report submissions for duplicate and/or fraudulent activity based upon expense report tracking system; working closely with employee’s manager, Human Resources and Legal Department when necessary.
  • Monitors credit card MCC reports on a monthly basis to identify potential misuse or blocked codes that may interfere with employee travel support needs
  • Works with Accounts Payable to establish processes resulting in the highest possible corporate card rebate and monitors monthly reports to ensure card volume and speed of pay is reported correctly.
  • Reconciles corporate card statements against submitted expense reports to assist employees with card account balance questions as needed.
  • Assigns newly issued corporate cards to proper employees as card numbers populate into the internal expense reporting system when required.
  • Provides excellent customer service to travelling employees with issues related to general travel and corporate card needs.
  • Generates travel and expense reports as needed.

Additional Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data is required.
  • Requires great attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Advanced English level - mandatory.
  • 2 years of previous working experience.
