Network Remediation Engineer, IT Infrastructure

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE: Behavioral Skills: • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities • Attention to detail and accuracy in execution • Interpersonal communication • Problem solving • Efficient time management Technical Skills: • Expertise in one or more of the following areas: • Firewalls • Data Center networks • Edge networks • Hands-on experience with core and edge network products such as Palo Alto, Citrix NetScaler, Aruba, Velocloud, and Cisco ACI • Hands-on experience in performing software updates on network devices • Strong understanding of general network technologies (TCP, UDP, DNS, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, etc.) • Solid foundation in general IT concepts • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and principles
