Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Security Data Analyst to support the monitoring of company systems, employee activity, and internal security compliance processes. This role will help identify suspicious behavior, support cybersecurity incident reviews, prepare compliance reports, and work closely with IT and Security teams to ensure company policies are followed.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work with system data, logs, dashboards, and internal reporting tools.
Work schedule:
Monday - Friday from 14:00 till 22:00
Key Responsibilities
- Monitors company systems and platforms (email, Teams, Zoom, Jira, internal applications, etc.) to detect suspicious behaviors or anomalies.
- Aggregates data from various sources (SIEM, EDR, firewall, application logs) and structures it for analysis.
- Analyzes cybersecurity incidents (e.g., phishing, unauthorized access attempts, information leaks) and collaborates with the IT specialist to resolve them.
- Uses statistical, analytical and operational intelligence methods to identify unusual behaviors. • Produces periodic reports on employee activity in terms of compliance with security policies.
- Participates in internal investigations of security incidents or disciplinary offenses.
- Participates in updating information classification models and training staff on best security practices.
- Contributes to the identification of Indicators of Compromise (IoC) and the optimization of alerting rules.
- Automates data collection and processing processes, in collaboration with the IT Support Security Specialist. • Contributes to the development of dashboards and KPIs for security monitoring.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Knowledge of monitoring technologies, risk identification, SIEM, DLP, etc.
- Experience with SQL, Python, advanced Excel, Power BI, Kibana, Grafana or other visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of networking, protocols and attack methods.
- Knowledge of data processing and cleaning.
- Critical analysis skills, attention to detail, confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Knowledge of GDPR regulations and data protection legislation is an advantage. Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics, IT security or similar fields.
