Qualifications and role of a RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager

• NY Nursing License with previous managerial LTC experience
• Ensures the nursing staff follows facility policy and procedures
• Sets Unit goals and standards
• Consults with physicians as necessary
• Analyzes patient records to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of care
