Job Description
- Operations Management: Overseeing daily warehouse logistics, such as receiving, storage, and shipping
- Inventory Control: Tracking products, conducting inventory counts, and reconciling variances
- Staff Supervision & Leadership: Supervising, training, and managing warehouse associates
- Safety & Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Efficiency & Improvement: Monitoring performance metrics and implementing process improvements
- Equipment Operation: Overseeing material handling equipment operations
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation and entering data into systems
- Collaboration: Liaising with various parties to ensure smooth operation
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse and supervisory role
- Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain management
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, including WMS
- Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred
