JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Cost Controller to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyse and control costs to maximise profitability
- Carry out monthly stock takes and analyse inventory discrepancies
- Manage and execute costing exercises for all different business types of food & beverage offerings in the hotel
- Prepare financial reports
- Track performance against budget and identify variances
- Ensure accurate P&L reporting and strong financial controls
- Support audits, compliance and internal procedures
- Partner with operational teams to improve financial efficiency
Skills & qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proactive mindset with the ability to influence decision-making
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a similar role and experience in Birchstreet software are considered an asset. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential.
