Material Control Clerk - Facilities Services - UTK
Job Description
The Material Control Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of products stored; which includes but is not limited to: counting and inspecting products, physical inventory, replenishments, reporting any damage or discrepancies, reconciling inventory discrepancies, product put away, and reallocation. Will verify inventory accuracy meet quality standards. All inventory control functions will be processed as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. The Material Control Clerk may be responsible for operating material handling equipment and performing other job assignments as assigned. The occupant of this position is responsible for the safe operation of a 12-passenger van and a Utility/ Service truck to transport and deliver personnel, materials, and equipment to work locations across campus and to off-campus locations as needed.
