Your mission
Due to the responsibility for working with internal colleagues across global regions, we are seeking a candidate with fluency in English and Mandarin. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, true passion for and knowledge in IoT connectivity, coupled with a proactive approach, self-starter mentality and a strong drive for results!
- Hunter Mindset: Actively hunting for new customers in the assigned region with high level of independency and take full ownership.
- Customer Engagement and Pipeline Management: Actively engage and correspond with customers, create, manage, and close pipelines for assigned accounts as directed by the line manager.
- Pipeline Building in China and APAC: Build qualified and accurate pipelines in assigned markets, both in hunting sales and existing customer base.
- Collaboration with Sales Partner SoftBank: Actively engage and align with SoftBank sales partners, creating and closing joint pipelines.
- Weekly Sales Activity Reporting: Proactively report sales activities weekly to the line manager.
- Collaboration with Solution Architects: Work closely with Solution Architects to address customer-related issues.
- Sales KPI Achievement: Work with sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve personal and company goals.
- Sales-Appointed Activities: Undertake sales-related activities as appointed by the line manager.
- Customer-Obsessed Mindset: Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset, striving to uphold 1NCE's brand as the best-in-class IoT connectivity provider.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and partners based on trust, aiming for the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Your skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Sales Experience: Over 10 years of sales experience in a professional environment.
- Direct Account Sales Achievement: Successfully conducted direct account sales to ASEAN enterprises, achieving a $5M+ annual pipeline.
- APAC Sales Experience: Hunter sales/account management experience with customers in APAC.
- IoT & Telecommunications Sales Background: Sales experience in the IoT and telecommunications market, including IoT ecosystem companies, telecom, and devices/modules.
- Sales Approaches: Proven hunter sales skills, values selling and consultative-based selling.
- IoT Technology Knowledge: General knowledge of IoT-related technology, including a strong understanding of global mobile roaming and IoT ecosystems.
- IT Business Apps Experience: Previous experience with IT business apps like Microsoft business applications, Salesforce, Slack, Confluence, Jira, etc.
- Sales Skills: Proficient in customer presentations, values selling, commercial strategy, and contract negotiations, proficiency in using Salesforce for accurate pipeline management and reporting.
- IoT Technology Familiarity: Familiarity with IoT-related technologies is a plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Mandarin; proficiency in other Asian languages (Indonesian, Thai, etc.) is advantageous.
- APAC Sales Experience: Direct sales/account management experience with customers in APAC outside of Singapore.
- Independence and Startup Mindset: Ability to work independently, self-starter, and possess a start-up mindset.
