
Senior Product Strategy & Operations Manager – Global Marketplaces

About the Team: The Global Product Solutions & Operations (PSO) team is the strategic bridge between TikTok’s advertising partners and our Product teams. Our mission is to ensure that the world’s largest Marketplace businesses—from global e-commerce giants to hyper-growth disruptors—are empowered to turn discovery into measurable results through our commerce solutions.
About the role: We are looking for a Senior Product Strategy & Operations Manager to lead the global strategy for the Marketplace vertical. This role will focus on our "hero" commerce solutions, specifically Smart+ Catalog Ads and the newly unified Asset Manager. You will be responsible for helping these high-volume advertisers transition from manual campaign management to Asset-Led Intelligence, ensuring their most valuable assets (Signals, Catalog, and Creative) are optimized for the TikTok ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- GTM Strategy & Execution: Define and lead the global go-to-market strategy for the Marketplace vertical, focusing on the adoption of Smart+ Catalog Ads and strategic initiatives.
- The "Asset Manager" Champion: Drive the transition for Marketplace partners to our unified Asset Manager, helping them transform static product feeds into a dynamic "Library of Stories."
- Product Roadmap Ownership: Act as the "Voice of the Customer" to Product Management and Engineering. Translate the unique needs of Marketplace businesses (e.g., large SKU management, API capabilities, signal integrity, and measurement) into actionable product requirements.
- Sales Enablement: Develop best-in-class sales playbooks and diagnostic frameworks that help GBS (Global Business Solutions) teams identify performance opportunities in client setups and fix them with off-the-shelf solutions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with regional teams in the Americas, Europe, and APAC to adapt global commerce strategies for local market nuances while maintaining a unified global standard for excellence.
- Measurement & Insights: Lead market opportunity assessments to identify where Marketplace advertisers are hitting "performance ceilings" and develop strategies to break through them using signal and creative strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of experience in product strategy, product marketing, or product management within the advertising technology or e-commerce landscape.
- Deep understanding of Performance Advertising, specifically catalog-based solutions, automated bidding, and signal-based optimization (Conversion APIs/Pixels).
- Experience working with large-scale Marketplace advertisers or "multi-sourced" commerce platforms.
- A "Revenue-Guided" mindset with a track record of driving product adoption across global sales organizations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into a "1+3" strategic narrative.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Management or formalized mentorship experience.
- Experience in a "global to local" environment, managing cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones.
- Familiarity with the "Agentic Commerce" landscape and the future of AI-driven shopping experiences.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to explain the "math" of signal match rates and the "magic" of creative depth to both technical and non-technical audiences.
