We are looking for a seasoned Director, Product Management, to drive our product growth and innovation as Solera goes through a rapid transformation. You’ll be responsible for defining and delivering significant growth in the Vehicle Repairs pillar, partnering with highly talented peers and stakeholders to bring huge value to our customers. Backed by Vista Equity Partners, we’re leveraging product and technology expertise across all aspects of vehicle lifecycle to bring One Solera solutions to the ever-evolving automotive space.
What You’ll Do
- Craft, define and lead product management strategies and efforts for our growing portfolio including product lifecycle priorities, strategically themed, EPIC-level Agile planning, execution leadership, market analysis and positioning, business and sales enablement and customer engagement/ opportunity support.
- Synthesize Solera’s strategic and competitive position and assets across all 4 pillars, collaborating with business teams and peer product leads to employ synergy in both products and customer segments.
- Execute strong financial, profitability, ROI, and customer value results – from business case to delivery, ensure that products are commercially successful and operationally effective.
- Lead a product manager/product owner team to execute product initiatives through the entire lifecycle, from defining the use cases to the planning and delivery, collaborating closely with all cross-functional teams.
- Engage with the business on partnership and/or acquisition opportunities that will accelerate and bolster the market positioning by strengthening what we build internally with external assets.
- Lead and mentor product managers/owners, set priorities and goals, provide support, coaching and feedback, to foster positive and results-oriented team performance.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, technology enablers, and constantly explore opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Partner with Product Marketing to equip sales and internal teams with compelling sales enablement, customer onboarding, marketing tools and strategies to support positioning of existing products and the introduction of new products or value-driven features.
- Track and analyze product performance metrics (using analytics) driving data-based decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) with 12+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS solutions industry with 4 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with AI tools, including vibe coding and prototyping tools for productivity as well as rapid development
- Combination of business acumen, customer empathy and intellectual curiosity for leveraging innovative technology to bring new solution offering that delight our customers
- High agency with self-starting and perseverance mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with a teamwork attitude.
- Well versed in mobile, web applications and backend platform development for total solution.
- Automotive and vehicle lifecycle experience highly desirable.
- Education and master application of Product Management fundamentals and principles, both on the strategic and tactical levels of execution.
