RN Staff - Mother Baby - PT- 1st Shift

Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children is proud to be the highest delivering hospital in the state of Alabama as well as the regional referral center for North Alabama and southern Tennessee. RNs on our 38 bed Mother/Baby unit provide family centered couplet care. Shortly after delivery, a dedicated team of nurses help mom and baby with skin-to-skin bonding and breastfeeding. The Mother Baby unit allows for rooming-in, lactation support, and designated quiet hours. The Mother/Baby RN is skilled in assessing, educating, and caring for postpartum mothers and newborns.
